Malik Pontes
Founder and Lead Fine Line Artist
Malik Pontes is the creative mind behind the vision that brought Portugal’s first luxury boutique tattoo studio to life. Born in Rio de Janeiro and based in Lisbon since his teenage years, Malik has built a deeply personal and distinctive trajectory—marked by restraint, detail, and a refined sensitivity to the body and the stories it carries. Malik began his journey at a young age through drawing, eventually discovering tattooing as the ideal medium to express his art. He studied Visual Arts at Universidade Lusófona, where he deepened his knowledge of aesthetics, minimalist design, and anatomy applied to art. He pursued specialized Fine Line training across Europe and spent five years working in studios in Germany, all while continuing his artistic path in Portugal. Minimalism, calm, and precision define his style. Malik has become known for his Fine Line work, creating delicate compositions with ultra-fine lines, monochromatic palettes, and a visual language that values negative space as much as the inked. His tattoos evoke lightness, suspended time, and introspection—each stroke revealing something that had always been there, waiting to be elegantly expressed. In founding NUMA STUDIO, Malik brought to life a concept he had been cultivating for years: a space where tattooing is lived as an aesthetic, emotional, and sensory experience. A place where luxury is not measured by the cost of things, but by the quality of time, space, and the attentiveness given to each client. At NUMA, Malik oversees every detail—from artistic consultations to curating the studio’s ambiance, selecting music, and designing the post-tattoo experience. He values comfort, safety, and the beauty that lies in listening. Each tattoo is an intimate collaboration and a visual translation of the person who entrusts themselves to his art. His inspirations include painters such as Francis Bacon and Marcel Duchamp, street artists like Vhils, Os Gêmeos, and Kobra, and tattoo artists Dimitriy Samohin, David Vegas, and Jean Gaia. Outside the studio, Malik devotes time to music—his instrument of choice is the guitar—enjoys drawing outdoors, and frequently visits art exhibitions to nourish his creative process. He believes tattooing is a collaborative art form that allows for direct, meaningful communication between artist and subject. With Malik Pontes, getting tattooed at NUMA STUDIO is not merely an aesthetic act—it is a gesture of listening, trust, and beauty.

Omnia
Fine Line, Microrealism & Botanical Specialist
Originally from Chile and currently based in Lisbon, Omnia is an artist who found in tattooing her most intimate and sensitive form of expression. A self-taught talent, inspired early on by her older brother and surrounded by art since childhood, Omnia began her tattoo journey during the pandemic, while still finishing her university studies. Returning to her parents’ home in a small, quiet town allowed her to reconnect with the passions of her youth: the garden she shared with her mother, drawing, painting, and inner time. From this reconnection with silence and creation emerged the desire to turn skin into an artistic medium. Since then, she has gathered five years of experience and has participated in major tattoo conventions in Chile, such as “Summer Ink” and “de Sur Ink,” in addition to working in a studio in Valparaíso. Her practice is defined by delicacy, minimalism, and a deep attention to detail. A specialist in Fine Line, Microrealism, and botanical tattoos, Omnia creates compositions that flow with the body’s natural movement — as if each line were breathing with the skin. Inspired by nature — birds, plants, and landscapes — but also by the urban and architectural rhythm of Lisbon, her work expresses a subtle tension between the organic and the constructed. Her creative process is collaborative and empathetic: she listens to the client, embraces their often vague ideas, and translates them into a design that honors both anatomy and emotional intent. Influenced by artists such as Özlem Alakoç, Miruna Costea, and Stefano Mazza, and guided by principles of aesthetic and philosophical minimalism, Omnia believes in tattooing as a silent language — a way to reveal who we are, even when words fall short. For her, tattooing is about offering a gentle experience, where even the most hesitant or sensitive clients feel seen and embraced. At NUMA STUDIO, she found a space that reflects her values: elegance, care, and attention to detail. She describes the studio as a place that breaks away from the harshness of traditional tattoo environments, offering instead a setting of comfort, respect, and sophistication — for both artist and client. Outside the studio, Omnia is passionate about hiking and nature. She loves exploring mountains, lakes, and trails, where she reconnects with the quiet needed to create. When asked about her most memorable tattoo, she speaks tenderly of the one she made for her mother — who, despite not being fond of tattoos, allowed herself to be touched by the power of love. With Omnia, tattooing becomes an act of presence: a moment of pause, of beauty, and of affection that endures.
